Trauma Informed Train the trainer

To be held at Basil Webb building – Bronllys hospital – Brecon Powys.

This training is relevant for anyone who is working or volunteering within the substance misuse sector who wants to increase their awareness of ACEs, their impact on substance misuse and an understanding of trauma informed practice.

Course Details: 

• One day
• Face to face delivery
• Train the Trainer model therefore an expectation that delegates will deliver this course to other professionals
• Free of charge

Course aims:

• To increase awareness of ACEs in the substance misuse workforce
• To consider the relationship between ACEs and substance misuse
• To explore the impact of Trauma
• To acknowledge staff support needs and to explore self-care
• To introduce the TrACE tool kit
