Join the Welsh Government People’s Panel on Persistent Pain
As part of the Living with Persistent Pain in Wales plan, the Welsh Government’s Persistent Pain Clinical Implementation Team is forming a People’s Panel to improve services and support for those affected by long-term pain.
Why this matters
Persistent pain—lasting over 12 weeks, such as chronic back pain or nerve pain—affects 12-25% of people in Wales. While some manage well, others face significant challenges that impact their daily lives, relationships, and communities. By joining the People’s Panel, you can help shape services that better meet real needs.
Who can join?
The People’s Panel is open to:
Why get involved?
Panel members will share their experiences, ideas, and insights to help improve understanding and guide the development of supportive and effective services across Wales.
How your organisation can help
If you work with people living with persistent pain or their carers, please share this opportunity. Encourage them to sign up and lend their voice to this vital initiative.
