The Welsh Government has published a new draft of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy (2024-2034) for public consultation, replacing the previous ten-year strategy ‘Together for Mental Health’.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy aims to improve and protect the mental health and well-being of people in Wales. The strategy sets out an overarching vision for mental health and wellbeing in Wales, alongside four key vision statements, supporting principles, and a series of high-level actions to support implementation.
PAVO will hold an engagement event on Thursday, 30th May 2024, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm online to establish a Powys Third Sector response.
Further information regarding the draft strategy can be found on The Welsh Government website https://www.gov.wales/draft-mental-health-and-wellbeing-strategy
