This event takes place as part of the Green Ribbon Arts Festival 2020 – a new event for the arts and mental health in Wales – Monday 26 October – Saturday 7 November.
What began with rainbow drawings in people’s windows has grown into a nationwide effort of organisations and communities coming together, to create an incredible body of work all with COVID-19 as the backdrop.
Have you ever wondered how artists’ life experiences shape their art? Does first-hand knowledge of mental ill-health influence and inform their work? Does it make it more authentic? What sort of effect does this knowledge have on consumers of their art? Join us for a group conversation on this topic, where you’ll hear from several artists who have all lived with mental ill-health.
Time: 11am – 12.30pm
