We have 9 engagement events coming up to explore having a Mental Health Recovery College in Powys, and to discuss what you want it to be like.
A Recovery College provides courses to help people understand mental health conditions, how to self manage them or how to support someone else. They are open to people with mental health challenges, those who support them, whether that be paid or unpaid, staff of health and social care or third sector organisations, and people from the community who want to support others. Courses are free of charge and designed and delivered by professionals and people with experience of the condition. The final proposal for the College will be influenced by your ideas and preferences.
